What is the Novice Team?
​Our novice team is the first step into competitive rowing on the regional level.  Kids 8th-12th grade can start on the Novice team without any prior rowing experience.  The DBC Novice team practices five days per week and will race against novice teams from other rowing clubs.  Rowers who compete at the Novice level in the spring, will transition to Varsity in the fall.

Novice Spring Season Dues 2022

$550 due covers all practice and coaching fees as well as equipment use.  The spring payment can be paid all at once or over 2 installments.  Rowers will receive a race shirt.  All rowers will need to purchase a pair of black spandex shorts/leggings for racing and covering all personal travel costs.  DBC has 1 spring fundraising event that everyone is required to participate in.
