Looking to try a new sport with lots of collegiate opportunities? Rowing is a “late entry” sport that many athletes find in junior high and high school. The Dayton Boat Club is hosting a free 2-hour Athlete Learn to Row on Saturday, Aug 8 from 10am-12pm to give 8th-12th grade athletes a chance to try rowing! Pre-registration is requested.

The camp will be held at the Dayton Boat Club boathouse: 3301 East River Rd, Moraine, OH. 45439​

    Ability to Swim

    ​I understand that the ability to swim is an important safety consideration for the sport of rowing, and hereby certify that the above named participant is able to swim. 

    Medical Release

    In the event of a medical emergency it may be necessary for staff of the Dayton Boat Club to engage medical professionals to administer medical services for the benefit of a rower who is ill or injured. By checking the button below you, as a legal guardian for the rower on this form, are giving consent to the staff of the Dayton Boat Club to allow medical professionals to care for the rower in question until you and or any other legal guardian for the rower can be put in contact with the medical professionals treating the rower.

    Medical Considerations

    Does your rower have any medical conditions that could lead to loss of consciousness (for example: diabetes, epilepsy or other seizure disorders, heart conditions, etc.)
