Updates
- USRowing’s Abuse Prevention and Response Policy (formerly “Safe Sport Policy Manual”) is a key aspect of safeguarding at USRowing. It has been enhanced to provide clearer definitions of misconduct and outline the responsibilities for addressing and resolving such issues.
- USRowing’s Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy ("MAAPP") is intended to promote education/training and prevention policies to keep youth athletes safe. It has been updated to align with the Center for SafeSport’s latest MAAPP revisions. These will take effect on December 19, 2024. USRowing’s MAAPP can also be found beginning on page ten (10) of USRowing’s Abuse Prevention and Response Policy.
