2022 Indy Summer Sprints
Members of the Dayton Boat Club masters team won medals in all five of their events at the Indy Summer Sprints regatta in Indianapolis June 18. The men’s four took bronze; the mixed eight took silver; two mixed fours took silver and bronze; and the women’s four took silver.

2021 Indy Summer Sprints
At the Indy Summer Sprints regatta in Indianapolis July 24, the DBC masters earned medals in all five of its events. The mixed eight and two women’s fours took third place, and the mixed four took silver. The women’s eight finished first. The regatta was the team’s first since the fall of 2019, following an easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

2019 Indy Summer Sprints
Dayton Boat Club brought home medals in four out of five entries at this annual 1,000-meter sprint race on Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis. The men's four took silver; the mixed eight took bronze; and two women's fours took silver and bronze. Way to go, DBC! 2019 INDOOR TRIATHLON RESULTS
This friendly annual competition, open to the public for the first time in 2019, consisted of 3,000 meters of rowing on a machine called an ergometer (“erg” for short); six flights of stairs, 1 mile of running; and 325 meters of swimming. Results:

2018 Speakmon Memorial Regatta, Columbus, Ohio
The Dayton Boat Club masters took four medals — two gold, one silver and one bronze — at the Jack Speakmon Memorial Regatta in Columbus Oct. 28.
In the 5,000-meter races on Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River, the mixed eight finished first ahead of Greater Columbus, Great Miami Rowing (Hamilton) and Westerville; the men’s eight finished first ahead of Greater Columbus and Westerville; the women’s eight took second behind Greater Columbus; and the novice mixed eight took third behind John Carroll University and Greater Columbus.

A small but mighty band of DBC masters and UD men's rowing team members traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, for the 2017 Music City Head Race Oct. 7.
On the 5,000-meter course along the Cumberland River by Titans stadium and through the heart of downtown, DBC took silver in the women's 4; gold in the unified men's 8; and gold and silver in the mixed 4. Way to go, team!
