​The Dayton Boat Club is committed to improving the lives and health of our Junior rowers. Through this commitment our current rowers and alumni have thrived and achieved remarkable feats. Congratulations to the following DBC crews for competing at Lake Natoma in CA at USrowing Youth Nationals!
  • Women's 4+ - 3rd Place in Grand Finals (Bronze Medal)

DBC Alumna Becomes a World Champion
DBC Alumna Molly Bruggeman becomes the first Dayton Boat Club rower to become a World Champion. Molly won both the Women's 4+ and Women's 8+ at the 2014 World Rowing Championship held in Varese, Italy. Congratulations to Molly and the United States on their victories! ​

2014 US Rowing Club National Championship
Congratualtions the DBC Intermediate 4+ on their second place performance this summer at the Club Nationals. In addition to the Intermediate 4, DBC rower Gavin Sebald won the Men's Junior 4x in a mixed boat with rowers from Maritime Academy. ​

Dayton Boat Club Junior Girls Sign 2013 Letters of Intent
​Dayton Boat Club Members Sarah Peffley, Lydia Schmitt, and Gretchen Bruggemen sign national intent letters to The Ohio State University, The University of Charleston, The University of Notre Dame.

2013 Youth Nationals Results!
​This year the Dayton Boat Club qualified 5 boats for the USrowing National Championship! This is the largest number of boats we have ever sent! 
  • Men's Lightweight Double: 16th
  • Men's Varsity Quad: 19th
  • Women's Lightweight Eight: 18th
  • Women's Varsity four: 10th
  • Women's Lightweight four: 9th

Dayton Boat Club Alumna Places Sixth at U-23 
World Championship

Congratulations to DBC Alumna Molly Bruggeman for her qualification to represent the USA at the U-23 World Championship. Molly is the 3rd former DBC Member to compete internationally! 



DBC Crews Compete at Nationals 2012
​DBC qualified two crews for the US Rowing Youth National Championship. This regatta draws qualified crews from all over the the United States. Most teams competing here have over 100+ rowers! DBC qualified a Girls Varsity Lightweight 4+ and a Boy's Varsity 4x. Congratulations to our Girls Lightweight 4+ for their sixth place finish!

DBC alumnae are competing at a number of NCAA programs, including Williams, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Mercyhurst, Duquesne, North Park, Tulsa, University of Dayton, Nova Southeastern, Louisville, Robert Morris, Eastern Michigan and West Virginia.

Alumnae and former Eagles rowing program student-athletes Annie Haley '09 (center), Abby Meyers (right) and Molly Bruggeman (left) competed in the NCAA rowing championships during the final weekend in May. Haley won her second consecutive Division III title with Williams College. Bruggeman and Meyers of Notre Dame each helped the Fighting Irish to a 15th place team finish in Division I.
