What is the Middle School Team?
The Middle School Team gives 6th-8th grade kids interested in rowing a chance to get a jumpstart on their rowing careers. This team will focus on the basics of rowing with special attention paid to establishing good technique. We are looking for kids who are ready to learn, have a positive attitude, and are excited about the sport!
*Rowers need to be at least 85 lbs and about 5 ft tall, unless they have coach approval. Attendance will be very important because the 7 week season will end with a race against other clubs.

Kids can start on the middle school team without previous rowing experience. The coaches will teach them everything they need to know. All rowers must be able to swim prior to the start of practices.

Middle School Fall 2023 Season Dues
$300 due at registration will cover all practice and coaching fees as well as equipment use. Rowers will receive a team shirt as well.
